  1. Early childhood educators work with young children and families from diverse cultures within a variety of early childhood programs: infant and toddler, day care and pre-school. In the Caribbean the ages of the children within the early childhood classification are from birth to five years and in North America and Europe birth to eight years.
  2. As an early childhood educator families sometimes share their personal information with you and at times it is expected that you support  them during life’s challenges by either directing them to related resource personnel or parenting support services.
