PROGRAMME ADVISING FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2014/ 2015

B.Sc. MANAGEMENT STUDIES

Management (Major)

SUMMARY POINTS:

To ensure that you gain maximum benefit from your programme of study, all students are required to follow the course sequence/levels:  Level 1; then Level 2; and finally Level 3.

Returning /Continuingstudents are required to fulfill pre-requisite course requirements before attempting to register for courses at Level 2.

Plan wisely to suit your particular situation so you may perform at your full potential. You are allowed to take a maximum of 5 courses each semester. However, we strongly recommend that you do no more than 3 courses; if as an adult your job and family commitments make it difficult to meet the academic requirements of your programme.

TIPS:

Do not proceed to Level 2 without first passing all Foundation courses;

Complete all Level 1 courses before registering for Level 2 courses.

NB: A finalizing student is: a student, who has successfully passed all FOUNDATION courses, has followed the sequence of course offerings and has now reached Level 3 of their programme.

TIP:

If you have more than three Level 2 courses to complete you would not qualify to graduate in 2014/2015.
