Registration and On-Site Orientation Information
A Warm Welcome to all New and Continuing Students!
If you have already commenced your programme with us, I trust that you have managed to get some well-deserved rest and that you are ready to put in every effort to achieve further success this semester. If you are joining us for the very first time, we extend a special welcome to you and assure you that we, at the Open Campus Saint Lucia Site, will do everything possible to support you in your endeavours.
Registrationfor Semester I, 2015/2016 begins from Monday August 10-31st, 2015. Please ensure that you read through the academic advising information on the web site prior to registering. You should also discuss your course selection with our Programme Officer, Mrs. Eulampia Springer, to ensure that you are choosing courses wisely and appropriately. Note also that you will not be allowed to do any courses for which you do not have the prerequisite. No overrides for this will be permitted.
With regard to finances, persons requesting payment plans should contact our Finance Officer, Ms Shauna Daniel or General Office Staff in order to make the necessary arrangements. Please note that only students registered for a minimum of two (2) courses are eligible for payment plans.
In addition to Tuition Fees, all Open Campus students must pay a facilities fee of EC$30.00 per semester. There is also is an annual Student Guild Fee of EC$54.00 per annum and a Student ID Card Fee of EC$14.00 which must be paid. All fees are payable at the CIBC First Caribbean International Bank, A/C #1873632. Copies of your bank slips must be returned to the Open Campus Finance Office at Morne Fortune to complete the process.
Orientation Schedule (August 18th and 19th 2015)
Year One students in the Masters, Ed D, BEd, BSc, ASc, Diploma and Certificate Programmesare advised to attend Orientation sessions as follows:
General Orientation (Tuesday, August 18th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.)
General orientation will take the form of information sessions with the Head, Programme and Finance Officers of the campus as well as the Student Guild Chair. Past and current student mentors will also be on hand to advise and support you.
During the session you will also get the opportunity to sign up for :

- · A Local On-line Orientation Session
Wednesday August 19th from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
A Practical Guide to Budgeting facilitated by Mr. McOrville Combie.
Stress Management / Time Management facilitated by Mr. Hilary Bynoe
