The Trinidad & Tobago Government Dedicates Ten Acres in Central Trinidad to the UWI Open Campus

Professor Hazel Simmons-McDonald, Pro Vice Chancellor and Principal of The UWI Open Campus delivers an address at the ceremony to mark the Dedication of Lands for the Construction of the MSTTE Complex and The UWI Open Campus at Chaguanas in Trinidad.


At a well-attended sod-turning and signage unveiling ceremony at two construction sites along the Narsaloo Ramaya Road in Chaguanas in Trinidad & Tobago on May 18, 2012, the Principal of the University of the West Indies (UWI) Open Campus, Professor Hazel Simmons-McDonald, expressed her gratitude to the Government and people of Trinidad & Tobago for the lands that were dedicated to the newest UWI Campus to continue its long-running work to provide educational opportunities and professional development services to the country.
